Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers has entered into non-binding memorandum of understandings (MoUs) with M/s Lloyd's Register and M/s Caterpillar Inc. The company has entered into non-binding MoU with M/s Lloyd's Register for development of a hydrogen fuel cell ferry and with M/s Caterpillar Inc for a potential collaboration in the production, sale and service of medium speed engines particularly for Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard.
The company has participated in the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) Exhibition in London (2023) and entered into MoUs with these companies.
