Asian markets settled down on Thursday amid Wall Street’s overnight fall following the US Federal Reserve's warning of a possible hike in US interest rates this year and keep them elevated for an extended period to combat stubborn inflation. Chinese shares declined on account of persisting concerns about the economy. Meanwhile, investors were cautiously focusing on Bank of Japan’s monetary policy decision on Friday also dulled market sentiments.
