Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices witnessed weakness on Thursday amid sluggish demand from consuming industries at domestic market. However, India’s natural rubber output is expected to be 5 percent down this fiscal in view of deficient rainfall in Kerala, said Ramesh Kejriwal, President, All-India Rubber Industries Association.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety fell to Rs 145.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 146/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety declined to Rs 142/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 142.50/ kg.
