Aditya Birla Capital has made an investment of Rs 749.99 crore on rights basis, in the equity shares of Aditya Birla Finance (ABFL), a wholly owned material subsidiary of the Company. Pursuant to the said investment in equity shares, ABFL continues to be a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. The company is making the investment in ABFL to meet its growth and funding requirements and improve its leverage ratio.
