Physical Rubber prices remained unchanged on Friday amid muted demand in the domestic market. Reports showed that domestic consumption of natural rubber has reached a record high in 2022-23 at 1,350,000 tons, up 9% from the quantity of 1,238,000 tons consumed during 2021-22, while production for 2022-23 was 839,000 tons, an 8.3% increase from the previous year.

Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 146.50/ kg and Rs 143/ kg, respectively.
