Crompton Greaves has bagged order worth $60 million for the turnkey construction of four high voltage GIS substations by the electrical transmission project office of the ministry of electricity in Iraq. The contract comprises designing, manufacturing, delivering and installation of the substations, thus helping upgrade and reinforces the existing 132 kV electricity transmission grid.
Recently, the company along with its consortium partners awarded Rs 239 crore contract for the construction of an offshore HV substation in the Netherlands from Van Oord Offshore Wind Projects BV. CG, in consortium with Cofely Fabricom and Iemants, it will design, deliver and install the high voltage offshore substation for the Luchterduinen project.
