Physical rubber prices continue to decline on Tuesday

Physical rubber prices continued to decline on Tuesday tracking the overall weakness in the domestic and international futures.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 162/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 163/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 158/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 160/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of May delivery improved to Rs 159.30 compared to its previous closing of Rs 158.83, while June delivery closed at Rs 158 compared to its previous closing of Rs 157.31 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
