Deccan Chronicle Holdings trades in green on BSE

Deccan Chronicle Holdings is currently trading at Rs 3.45, up by 0.28 points or 8.83% from its previous closing of Rs 3.17 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 3.48 and has touched a high and low of Rs 3.48 and Rs 3.39 respectively. So far 110464 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 42.00 on 02-May-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs 2.96 on 11-Apr-2013.\

Beleaguered Deccan Chronicle Holdings (DCHL) is in the process of demerging its printing and publication, retail and sporting activities into a separate entity called Land Interactive Media registered in Delhi. At present, the company is going through tough time as some lenders of the city-based company filed complaints against company in various courts and forums for alleged default of payments.

DCHL is engaged in printing and publishing of ‘Deccan Chronicle’, ‘Financial Chronicle’, ‘Andhra Bhoomi’ and ‘Asian Age’ newspapers.
