Genus Power Infrastructures’ wholly owned subsidiary has received a Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs 3,121.42 crore (net of taxes) for appointment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Providers (AMISPs) including design of Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system with supply, installation and commissioning with FMS of 36.27 lakh Smart Prepaid Meters, system meters including DT Meters with corresponding energy accounting on DBFOOT basis.

Many State Electricity Boards (SEBs) have initiated the bidding process for the acquisition of smart meters, highlighting the favourable implications of the 'Reforms-Based, Result-Linked Power Distribution Sector Scheme'.

Genus Power Infrastructures (GPIL) is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of electronic energy meters, power distribution management projects, hybrid microcircuits, inverters, batteries, home UPS and online UPS in India and abroad.
