Transformers and Rectifiers zooms on bagging order worth Rs 296 crore

Transformers & Rectifiers (India) is currently trading at Rs. 93.90, up by 7.65 points or 8.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 86.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 89.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 96.90 and Rs. 89.50 respectively. So far 10246 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 179.80 on 13-Jul-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 74.20 on 28-Mar-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 96.90 and Rs. 84.90 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 119.03 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 76.82% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.39% and 21.78% respectively.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) has been awarded single order of 392 nos. of Transformers amounting to Rs 296 crore from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation (GETCO) to be executed in this fiscal.

Pursuant to this, the total order book of the company has jumped above Rs 650 crore. The company continuously thrives to deliver quality products and over a period of time has become one of the leading manufacturers of transformers in the country.

Transformers and Rectifiers (India) is one of India’s leading transformer manufacturers. The company is the main supplier of transformers to the Sardar Sarovar hydel project, state electricity boards and major international clients.
