Bhansali Engineering shines on getting nod to execute JVA with Nippon A&L Inc

Bhansali Engineering is currently trading at Rs. 17.40, up by 0.40 points or 2.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 17.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 17.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 17.40 and Rs. 16.70 respectively. So far 3,862 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 25.00 on 20-Apr-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 12.50 on 15-Feb-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 17.50 and Rs. 13.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 288 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 49.83% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.03% and 50.14% respectively.

Bhansali Engineering Polymers has received an approval for the draft Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) proposed to be executed between the company and Nippon A&L Inc, Japan. Pursuant to the terms of aforesaid draft Joint Venture Agreement, a new private limited company will be incorporated between the Bhansali Engineering Polymers and Nippon A&L Inc to undertake comprehensive technology and application development work of numerous specialized grades of ABS, AES, ASA resins and their respective alloys with other polymers to cater to the growing requirement from automotive, telecommunication, electrical and electronics and other sectors.

The board of company at its meeting held on April 20, 2013 has approved for the same. The board has authorized the MD of the company to execute the proposed agreement and other documents as may be necessary in this respect.
