Welspun India’s business arm - Welspun Energy (WEL), India’s biggest developer of solar projects has inked pact with Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) to offer knowledge and skills development in renewable energy industry. As per this pact, both the institutes will jointly develop and organize workshops, seminars and conferences for knowledge sharing.
The entity is planning to set up a corpus for offering scholarships to five outstanding students. NMIMS students will be able to visit Welspun's solar and wind power plants across the country while the company's senior executives will lecture students of the institute through fixed-term visiting assignments.
