Shoppers Stop’s - wholly owned subsidiary - Crossword Bookstores has opened one ‘Crossword’ franchisee store at Raipur, Chhattisgarh. With the opening of this store, there are now 83 ‘Crossword’ stores.
Further, Shoppers Stop’s 51% subsidiary company - Hypercity Retail (India), has opened its third store in Bangalore. With the opening of this store, there are now 13 ‘Hypercity’ stores.
Shoppers Stop is engaged in the retailing business. It runs a chain of departmental stores with brands including Shopper’s Stop, Home Stop, Crossword, Cafes and Restaurants etc.
