NMDC’s subsidiary -- Legacy Iron Ore has inaugurated Mount Celia Gold Operation in Australia. It becomes first gold mine in the company's portfolio. This initiative, undertaken by Legacy Iron Ore, a subsidiary of the State-owned Steel CPSE, has been met with great anticipation and stands as a testament to the relentless dedication and commitment of NMDC in diversifying its mineral assets.

NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
