Asian markets ended higher on Wednesday tailing rally in Wall Street shares overnight on increased sales in new homes in the US. Japan’s Nikkei went home with green mark as yen's weakness helped Japanese exporters. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng market closed with strong gains as Huaneng Power International ended higher. Seoul also ended strong, touching one-week high after chip maker SK Hynix reported quarterly operating profits that beat forecasts, but the upside was capped on cautiousness ahead of more earnings.
