Tata Communications is currently trading at Rs. 233.40, up by 8.15 points or 3.62% from its previous closing of Rs. 225.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 227.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 233.40 and Rs. 224.35 respectively. So far 13,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 266.35 on 26-Jul-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 190.65 on 22-May-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 233.00 and Rs. 222.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6,551crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 76.15% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.57% and 3.31% respectively.

Tata Communications entered into a new partnership with Mercedes AMG Petronas which will see the delivery of world-class trackside connectivity for the team at all Formula One race locations using the Tata Communications global network. With the new partnership, Tata Communications becomes the 'Official Managed Connectivity Supplier' to the team.

Tata Communications, a leading global provider of 'a new world of communications', will work closely with Mercedes AMG Petronas to deliver high-speed, high quality and secure trackside connectivity, enabling the team to transfer vital real-time data from the Silver Arrow cars at any Grand Prix location to its headquarters in the UK, three times faster than at present. The improved trackside connectivity will enable the team to react more quickly to developments at the track and help to increase car performance.
