15 Nov 2023 Evaluate
Copper futures settled higher on Tuesday on improved demand as soft inflation data from the United States raised hopes the Federal Reserve would not hike interest rates further. Moreover, weak dollar and falling US Treasury yields also supported copper prices’ uptrend.

Copper futures for December delivery gained $0.0175 to settle at $3.6835 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up by 0.83 percent at $8,235 a ton.
