Copper futures traded higher on Monday on hopes of improving Chinese metals demand after China's central bank and financial regulators promised support to the country's property sector. Moreover, weak US dollar also makes copper cheaper to holders of other currencies.
Copper futures for December delivery gained 0.45% or $0.0170 at $3.7555 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
