FIIs stood as net sellers in equities on October 4, 2011: SEBI

The FIIs on Tuesday were net sellers in equities and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1639.80 crore against gross sell of Rs 2422.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 782.40 crore in equities on October 4, 2011.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 562.10 crore with gross sales of Rs 1913.30 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1351.20 crore in debt on October 4, 2011.
