22 Nov 2023 Evaluate
Copper futures settled down on Tuesday ahead of minutes of US Fed’s recent meeting due later in the day. However, improved demand hopes after Chinese officials promised support to its property sector, and tighter supplies following disruptions at major mines in Peru and Panama have limited further losses in copper prices.

Copper futures for December delivery lost $0.0015 to settle at $3.8125 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange. Copper on the London Metal Exchange was up by 0.22 percent at $8,449 a ton.
