Asian markets settled mixed on Wednesday after the US Fed officials agreed at their last policy meeting that they would proceed carefully and only raise interest rates if progress in controlling inflation faltered. Chinese shares declined following the arrest of DouYu founder Chen Shaojie for allegedly hosting online gambling. Meanwhile, investors are awaiting more cues on stimulus measures from China. Japanese markets gained as a weaker yen lifted exporter shares.
