According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers of Rs 525.37 crore in futures and options segments on Tuesday, October 04, 2011.
FII’s were sellers of index futures to the tune of Rs 589.16 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 328.82 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 271.01 crore and they bought stock options to the tune of Rs 5.98 crore.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on October 04, 2011 is 39.23%.
