Launching a scorching attack on BRS president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao ahead of the Assembly polls, Union Home Minister Amit Shah today said the BJP, if elected to power, would investigate and send those who indulged in corruption behind bars.

Addressing an election rally in Armoor city in the Nizamabad district of Telangana, Amit Shah claimed that KCR indulged in corruption worth thousands of crores of rupees and that he should not feel nothing is going to happen about it. He said ‘KCR hasn't fulfilled any of the promises he made to the people of the state. He didn't do anything other than misappropriate thousands of crores in corruption money for his son, KTR’. Alleging that the KCR government did not leave any stone unturned in corruption, he named the 'Miyapur land scam', 'Kavitha ji's liquor scam' (CM KCR's daughter and MLC Kavitha), 'Outer Ring Road scam' as some of the alleged corruption scandals.

Shah assured that the BJP, if voted to power, the party will set up an inquiry commission to look into all the scams and frauds committed by KCR. He also promised to set up a National Turmeric Board so that the turmeric farmers get fair remuneration for their produce, build a value chain, and increase exports. Union Minister reiterated that the BJP would abolish the four per cent quota to Muslims and provide the benefit to OBCs and STs and that BJP, if elected to power, would arrange free darshan at Lord Ram temple at Ayodhya.

The state is set to witness a triangular contest between the ruling Bharat Rasthtra Samithi, Congress and BJP in the November 30 polls while the votes will be counted on December 3.
