Physical rubber prices continued their consolidation mood on Tuesday and finished unchanged lacking quantity buyers or sellers on either side. The weakness in global markets too weighed on the prices. However, there was some recovery in domestic futures.
Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 209/kg and Rs 206/kg respectively.
In futures market, the contract of RSS-4 for October delivery closed at Rs 211.30 compared to its previous closing of Rs 210.03, while the contract for November delivery closed at Rs 206.80 compared to its previous closing of Rs 206.14 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
