Asian markets settled mixed on Friday amidst Wall Street’s mixed performance overnight. Chinese shares gained marginally after China's Caixin Manufacturing PMI unexpectedly expanded to 50.7 in November against October's contraction of 49.5. However, Japanese shares declined after the release of disappointing manufacturing data. The final au Jibun Bank Japan manufacturing PMI declined to 48.3 last month, a slight decrease from October’s 48.7 but marginally better than the initial reading of 48.1.
