04 Dec 2023 Evaluate

Copper futures traded down on Monday as the US dollar strengthened marginally against its major peers overseas. Moreover, geopolitical tensions in the Middle East also dampened copper sentiments. Although, supply disruptions in the Cobre mine in Panama limited further falls in copper prices.

Copper futures for March delivery lost 1.17% or $0.0460 at $3.8855 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
