Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders (MDL) has signed a contract with acquisition wing of Ministry of Defence for construction and delivery of six Next generation Offshore Patrol Vessels (NGOPVs) for Indian Coast Guard (ICG) on December 20, 2023. Size of the order is around Rs 1600 crore.
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders is the India's leading defence public sector undertaking shipyard under the Ministry of Defence.
