Transformers and Rectifiers (India) has successfully completed the most stringent ‘Dynamic Short Circuit Test’ on 105 MVA, 400/√3/220/√3/33 kV class Single Phase Auto Transformer forming a bank of 315 MVA. The Dynamic short circuit test was conducted at National High Power Test Laboratory (NHPTL), Bina as per IEC 60076-5 standard.
With successful completion of this test, the company has crossed a commendable milestone of successful Dynamic short circuit test on a record 150 plus transformers in last 2 decades. The successful short circuit testing on very large number of higher rating transformers demonstrates sound engineering, company’s adherence to stringent quality standards and the capability to manufacture and deliver high rating reliable power transformers to various specifications.
