National Aluminium Company (NALCO) is currently trading at Rs. 34.95, up by 0.40 points or 1.16% from its previous closing of Rs. 34.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 34.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 35.00 and Rs. 34.30 respectively. So far 19818 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 63.65 on 04-Jul-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 32.70 on 10-Apr-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 36.30 and Rs. 34.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 8865.70 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 81.06% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.59% and 3.35% respectively.

National Aluminium Company (NALCO) has slashed domestic prices of aluminium ingots by 3% due to fall in global prices. The state-run company has cut prices by Rs 4,000 to Rs 1,26,700 per tonne for standard aluminium ingots.

India’s third-largest producer of aluminium has been reducing prices over the past three months, during which aluminium prices have fallen about 8%.
