Ravalgaon Sugar Farm workers have called-off illegal strike on April 27, 2013 and the company has restored normal operations. The workers resorted to an illegal strike from March 07, 2013 at the company’s factory in Ravalgaon. With intervention and series of meetings with the Government Labour authorities the strike was finally called off.
The main activity of the company, viz. manufacture of sugar, was not affected by the strike since the crushing season was over by February 15, 2013.
