Physical rubber prices regain strength on Friday

Physical rubber prices regained their strength further on Friday tracking the moderate gains on the commodity futures market.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety improved to Rs 163.50 compared to its previous closing of Rs 163/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 160/ kg compared to its previous close of Rs 159/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of May delivery improved to Rs 165 compared to its previous closing of Rs 162.30, while June delivery closed at Rs 164.95 compared to its previous closing of Rs 161.69 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
