Bharat Forge climbs higher as it redeems FCCBs aggregating $62.43 million

Bharat Forge is currently trading at Rs. 230.95, up by 1.70 points or 0.74% from its previous closing of Rs. 229.25 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 230.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 232.00 and Rs. 229.00 respectively. So far 6124 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 347.00 on 08-May-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 196.00 on 28-Mar-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 235.00 and Rs. 224.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5354.27 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 42.05% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.39% and 29.55% respectively.

Bharat Forge has redeemed Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs) worth $ 62.43 million which includes principal of $ 39.90 million and redemption premium of $ 22.53 million on due date. The Company had earlier on April 28, 2006, issued Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds (FCCBs), optionally convertible into GDRs/ Equity Shares, aggregating to $ 39.90 million, mainly to finance capital expenditure and global acquisitions. The Company expects to complete the bonds cancellation process and other formalities shortly.
