Aban Offshore has signed a contract for the deployment of the jack-up rig Deep Driller 7 - owned by the company's step down subsidiary - Offshore Mexico for a firm period of 1005 days, ending December 31, 2015. The estimated revenue from the deployment is about $152 million (equivalent to approx Rs 828 crore).
Aban Offshore (formerly Aban Loyd Chiles Offshore) is India’s largest offshore drilling services provider to oil companies, mainly for ONGC. It is a company which provides oil field services for offshore exploration and production of hydrocarbons to the oil industry in India and abroad.
