Gold futures finished lower on Wednesday, pressured by the firmness in dollar and Treasury bond yield notes after US business activity grew more than expected in January. Moreover, caution ahead of key US economic data and the European Central Bank’s policy decision later in the day also saddled yellow metal investments.
Gold futures for February delivery down by $10 or 0.48% to settle at $2035.20 per ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold added by $1.84 points or 0.09% to $2,015.73 ounce.
