Gold futures finished higher on Wednesday, buoyed by the dipping dollar and 10-year US Treasury bond yield notes. Additionally, intensified geopolitical conflict in the Middle East also supported safe haven bullion appeal. Meanwhile, Federal Reserve kept interest rates steady as expected though signalled that interest rate cuts are not imminent.
Gold futures for April delivery up by $16.50 or 0.80% to settle at $2067.40 per ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold added by $7.01 points or 0.34% to $ 2,046.53 ounce.
