Procurement of wheat in Haryana reaches over 58 lakh tonnes

During the current procurement season over 58.22 lakh tonnes (LT) of wheat have so far arrived in grain markets of Haryana state. The Government agencies have procured over 58.13 LT of wheat at the minimum support price and 8,645 tonnes of wheat has been purchased by the private millers and traders.

HAFED has procured over 22.54 LT of wheat, Food and Supplies over 14.13 LT, Food Corporation of India over 7.22 LT, Haryana Agro Industries Corporation over 5.65 LT, Haryana Warehousing Corporation over 5.24 LT and CONFED had purchased 3.03 LT of wheat.
