SCI takes physical delivery of ‘SCI Ratna'

Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) has taken physical delivery of its 1983 DWT (2039 GT) anchor handling tug-cum-supply vessel of 80 ton bollard pull capacity – ‘m.v SCI Ratna’.

Recently, the company in a bid to take advantage of a niche segment in Indonesia had invited for expression of interest (EoI) from local players. The company had called for EoI to form a joint venture (JV) company for dry-bulk shipping services on the Indonesian coast.

SCI is India’s premier shipping line having a major presence on the global maritime map. The company is the only Indian shipping company operating break-bulk service, international container service, liquid / dry bulk service, offshore service, passenger service, in addition to manning / managing a large number of vessels on behalf of various government departments and organizations.
