Physical rubber prices after a good bounce back once again consolidated on Monday. Though, the start was good for the commodity but it lost its direction following the weakness in domestic futures during late trades; however the international futures moved higher and capped any losses in rubber prices.
Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 215/kg and Rs 212/kg respectively.
In futures market, the contract of RSS-4 for November delivery weakened to Rs 214.86 compared to its previous closing of Rs 216.08, while the contract for December delivery closed at Rs 217.10 compared to its previous closing of Rs 218.36 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
