Bharat Forge has infused funds in Bharat Forge America Inc., (BFA) a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company on February 09, 2024. This amount will then be invested by BFA into Bharat Forge Aluminum USA, Inc. (BFAL) a wholly owned subsidiary of BFA.
BFAL is engaged in the aluminum automotive components business. Accordingly, the investment by the Company in BFA and the proposed investment in BFAL is in furtherance of BFAL’s main line of business. The investment will tentatively be completed by February 15, 2024. The $15 million (Rs 124.83 crore) will be invested in the form of Additional Paid In Capital.
Bharat Forge is engaged in manufacturing of close die and open die forging, crankshafts, front axle beams, steering knuckle, connecting rods, rocker arm and many more components.
