Gold futures finished lower on Monday, as the climbing dollar and 10-year Treasury bond yield notes pressured the yellow metal investment appeal. Moreover, caution ahead to key US inflation reading which could gauge Fed interest rate outlook also discouraged bullion investments.
Gold futures for April delivery down by $5.70 or 0.28% to settle at $2033.00 per ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold dipped by $0.93 points or 0.05% to $2,019.12 ounce.
