Siemens trades higher on reporting 9% rise in consolidated net profit for December quarter

Siemens is currently trading at Rs. 4400.05, up by 76.60 points or 1.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 4323.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4253.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4413.75 and Rs. 4253.65 respectively. So far 12286 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 4500.00 on 13-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 3081.00 on 14-Feb-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4500.00 and Rs. 4121.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 154411.96 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.60% and 9.40% respectively.

Siemens has reported 5.90% rise in its net profit at Rs 463.40 crore for first quarter ended December 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 437.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 22.76% at Rs 4,591.50 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 3,740.20 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 9.29% rise in its net profit at Rs 505.70 crore for first quarter ended December 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 462.70 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 21.19% at Rs 4,989.30 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 4,116.80 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
