Gold futures finished higher on Thursday, rebounding from negative streak of six consecutive sessions. Weaker dollar rates and safe haven appeal with the jitters of recession as well as ongoing geopolitical woes also kindled precious metal investments.
Gold futures for April delivery up by $10.60 or 0.52% to settle at $2014.90 per ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. However, spot gold lower by $0.75 points or 0.04% to $1,991.58 ounce.
