FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per May 17 data: SEBI

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyers in equities while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4021.70 crore against gross sell of Rs 2781.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1240.50 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 772.90 crore with gross sales of Rs 775.10 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2.30 crore in debt.
