17 Feb 2024 Evaluate
Gold futures finished higher for second straight session on Friday, kindled by the weakness in dollar and on safe haven appeal amid fears of recession. Meanwhile, the yellow metal for the most active contract marked its second consecutive loss for the week by falling about 0.71%, pressured by the Fed interest rate outlook.

Gold futures for April delivery down by $9.20 or 0.45% to settle at $2024.10 per ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold dipped by $ 9.19 points or 0.46% to $ 2,013.59 ounce.
