Physical rubber prices closed firm on Saturday following better closing on the commodity futures market. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety improved to Rs 171/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 170.50/ kg, while RSS-5 variety closed at Rs 167/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 166.50/ kg.
In the futures market, contract of June delivery increased to Rs 171.0 5 compared to its previous closing of Rs 169.52, while July delivery closed at Rs 170.51 compared to its previous closing of Rs 169.12 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
