Asian markets settled mostly higher on Tuesday, following China's efforts to boost its struggling property market by cutting its benchmark reference rate for mortgages. Meanwhile, investors are awaiting upcoming release of FOMC meeting minutes for insights into the timing of the first interest rate cut. However, Japanese market declined on profit-taking in spite of weaker yen and supply tightness in the market.
