Physical Rubber prices remain unchanged on Friday

Physical Rubber prices remained flat on Friday due to shrinking supplies in the market. Meanwhile, a strong tyre demand outlook this year kept rubber prices steady. The government had hiked financial assistance for the Rubber sector under the ‘Sustainable & Inclusive Development of Natural Rubber Sector’ by 23% to Rs 708.69 crore for the next two years.

Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at its previous closing of Rs 166/ kg and Rs 162/ kg respectively.
