Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Swiggy (Bundl Technologies) to provide pre-ordered meals to passengers of Indian Railways through IRCTC e-Catering Services. As per said MOU, this service will be made available initially on Bengaluru, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam & Bhubaneswar stations and the number of stations may be increased / decreased on mutual agreement during the currency of Proof of Concept (PoC).
IRCTC is the only entity authorised by the Indian railways to provide catering services to railways, online railway tickets and packaged drinking water at railway stations and trains in India.
