Asian markets ended mixed on Wednesday on caution ahead of testimony from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, US non-farm payrolls data and the ECB interest rate decision. Chinese shares dropped in disappointment as no strong fiscal stimulus was announced yet at the annual National People's Congress. Seoul shares declined, led by the technology and chemical sectors. Consumer prices advanced 3.1% on-year last month, data from Statistics Korea showed. Japanese shares fell slightly after news of lower iPhone sales in China prompted a slide in technology shares on Wall Street.
