According to the data released by the NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 742.28 crore in index futures and options segments on Tuesday, May 21, 2013.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 384.71 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 357.57 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 209.38 crore, while they also sold stock options worth Rs 2.52 crore.
